NASA delays shuttle launch until Jan.

The space shuttle Atlantis with the Rotating Service Structure (RSS) back in place scrubbed on 06 December 2007 due to two faulty engine cut-off (ECO) sensors located in the base of the external tank discovered during fueling. Atlantis is now scheduled to liftoff no earlier than 3:43p.m. on 08 December 2007.  EPA/GARY I ROTHSTEINNASA on Sunday delayed the launch of the space shuttle Atlantis until January after a gauge in the fuel tank failed for the second time in four days.
